San Tan Fireworks was founded on a straightforward idea: consumer fireworks should be accessible, affordable, and safe. When we opened our first tent in Gilbert, Arizona in 2010, we were a small operation competing against gas station sparkler racks and big-box retailers that treated fireworks like an afterthought.
We took a different approach. We curated our inventory like a specialty shop, trained our staff like professionals, and priced fairly because we built direct relationships with certified manufacturers. The result was a customer experience unlike anything else in the market.
That first summer, people drove past competitors to shop with us. Not because we were the only option — but because we were the best one. That reputation compounded year after year, and what began as one tent in one Arizona city is now one of the largest seasonal consumer fireworks operations in the American Southwest.

What We Sell
We don't stock products because they're cheap or because a distributor pushes them. Every product on our shelves has been evaluated by our buying team against a strict set of criteria: safety certification, consumer performance, value for the price, and real-world reliability.
We work directly with certified manufacturers — both domestic and international — who meet or exceed CPSC standards. Our direct relationships allow us to offer premium product at accessible price points, without the markups that come from multiple wholesale layers.
We test products in the field every season and update our lineup based on what actually performs. If a product doesn't deliver the experience we promise, it doesn't come back the next year. Simple as that.

From One Tent to a Nation
San Tan Fireworks opened its first seasonal tent in Gilbert, Arizona — a small family-run operation built on a simple belief: every family deserves a spectacular Fourth of July without breaking the bank. We hand-selected every product, set up the tent ourselves, and served our neighbors directly.
Word spread fast. By 2013 we had grown to 5 locations across the Phoenix metro, each one staffed by people who genuinely loved fireworks. We became known as the go-to alternative to the big-box chains — more selection, more expertise, and prices that kept families coming back year after year.
With 20+ locations operating every summer, San Tan Fireworks became the dominant consumer fireworks brand in Arizona. We formalized our supplier relationships, establishing direct import partnerships with certified manufacturers — cutting out the middleman and passing the savings directly to consumers.
Utah and New Mexico welcomed San Tan Fireworks as we expanded beyond Arizona for the first time. Each new market required us to understand local regulations deeply — fire season calendars, county-by-county ordinances, state certification requirements. We took on that complexity so our customers wouldn't have to.
California's complex regulatory landscape is one of the most challenging in the nation. We spent over a year researching legal operating zones, partnering with local fire authorities, and identifying municipalities where consumer fireworks are fully permitted. The result: strategic locations serving California families legally and safely.
Today San Tan Fireworks operates more than 60 seasonal tent locations across four states. We've served hundreds of thousands of families, processed millions of transactions, and helped light up the sky at countless Fourth of July celebrations, New Year's Eve countdowns, and Diwali festivals.
